Koh Thai Kitchen & Bar (Four Seasons Resort) - just a minute drive from our villa, this place offers one of the most amazing breakfast buffets of all times, not only in Samui but anywhere. For lunch and dinner, this place serves authentic Thai flavours as well as great cocktails at the bar. Afternoon tea and Sunday brunch are another highlights here.
CoCoRum (Four Seasons Resort) - this pool/restaurant serves Latin-American food in a great atmosphere with cozy lounge beds. Try their ceviche and prawn tacos!
Coco Tam’s X Peppina - Samui’s Coco Tam, known for refining the cabana bar look, has joined hands with Italian pizza purveyor Peppina for the beachfront dining spot Coco Tam’s x Peppina.
Bar Baguette - this place has two branches and serves all day breakfast (yes!), pastries with a really good coffee. They also have a decaffeinated coffee which is hard to find in coffee shops on the island.
Gusto Italian Restaurant - located in Fisherman’s Village. Nice Italian place with imported ingredients. Our favourites are pizza with burrata and the oven-baked eggplant melanzane. Stick to pizza or pasta as that is what they do best.
Zazen Retaurant - Moroccan decorated, French fine dining restaurant is one of our favourites on the island. They also have an extensive Thai cuisine menu.
Nikki Beach Club - beach club concept from Miami and New York, great for lunch, dinner or just sipping on cocktails in the pool while enjying the DJ’s lively tunes. Menu items include international and Thai dishes, sushi rolls and seafood.
Jahn (Conrad hotel) - experience a culinary journey through contemporary Thai cuisine in a luxury environment at Jahn. This candle-lit dining room provides a stunning view of the moonlit resort and overlooks the Gulf of Thailand.
Zest (Conrad hotel) - Zest restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining with an ocean view of the Gulf of Thailand. This place serves a generous breakfast buffet, and is also great for lunch or dinner serving Thai as well as international dishes.
Air Bar (Intercontinental resort) - this outdoor bar on the top of the hill, part of the Intercontinental hotel offers stunning views of the Five Islands (yes, there are five islands and yes they are called that) whilst sipping on classical or trying some new tropical cocktails.
Amber (Intercontinental resort) - after sunset drinks at the Air Bar, move just a few steps away to this Thai restaurant that offers classic Thai dishes from all regions of the country with a contemporary twist. Special dinner buffets are usually served on certain days of the week.
Flames (Intercontinental resort) - seafood and fresh cuts of meat are grilled and this casual open-plan beachside restaurant. They offer great choice of items from both modern European and Thai cuisines. All you can eat selection of prime cuts and seafood is offered in a form of buffet on certain nights.
Crystal Bay Beach Club - set on the nicest beach on the island, also called the Silver Beach. This restaurant serves international food, drinks and sometimes has a nice live music. You are welcome to use the beach as well as their swimming pool. Perfect for a relaxing lunch and a day on the beach.
Dr Frogs Bar & Grill - high up on the edge of the hill overlooking Chaweng Beach. This restaurant offers classic Italian and traditional Thai cousines.
Supattra Thai dining - One of the best Thai restaurants on the island. The food is absolutely delicious if you are looking for Westernized Thai cuisine, you will love this place!
The Mud Resort - walking distance from our house. This funny looking resort serves some great Thai dishes and has a cute bar. Always our go to when we are lazy to drive anywhere.
Giulietta e Romeo - romantic fine dining Italian.
Pepenero - Great Italian place for pasta. Their Tiramisu is heavenly!
Krua Bophut - charming Thai restaurant in Fisherman’s Village
